To help you to learn how to study the Bible, there are certain teachings, that will help you, if you know them before you study.
How You Can Cull Part Of The Group Of Pretend Worshippers Of Christ
You and I prefer to be ruled by the Bible, not just read it. Therefore we will have to know who, in our own life, isn’t a Christian, and who is a Christian. First, I’ll teach you an easy way to identify , who possibly might even be a churchgoer, nevertheless who isn't a servant of Jesus Christ.
Paul the Apostle of Jesus Christ composed the following words in his epistle to a disciple hight John:
1 John
2 ;22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Messiah? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son.
The words, “Christ” “Messiah”, and “Anointed” all denote the same concept. They refer to the tradition of pouring oil atop the head, of a new king or high priest.
In consideration of the above verse, if a soul denies that Jesus is king and high priest, then they are denying that Jesus Christ is God, and they are not a follower of Jesus. In the same way, if they deny that Jesus Christ is God, then they are not a Christian person. That is implied by the verse above, from the bible.
Another Means Of Identifying A Phony Christian Person
Numerous people think that they are Christian people, and many say that they love Jesus Christ, or that they have invited him into their heart. But the Bible's teachings, following, teach to us that some of those people could not be Christians, in spite of what they say about themselves.
In the following Bible verses, it is Christ himself speaking to us:
Matthew 7
21 Not every one who utters unto me, Master, Master, shall go into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.
22 Many souls will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in your name accomplished many wonderful doings?
23 And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: leave from me, you lawless ones.
John 14
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is who loveth me: and he who loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
23 … If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our home with him.
24 He that loveth me not doesn't keep my words: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
The verses from the Book of Isaiah, the prophet, below, make it clear to us how anybody can be a follower of Jesus, if they choose to be one, not just the descendants, of a man named Israel.
A prophet is somebody who says what God told him to say. So, in effect, it is The Heavenly Father speaking. Remembering who isn’t or who is a Christian person, in your life, can be of help to you, when you are learning how to study the Bible
Isaiah 56
2 Blessed is the man … that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.
3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that has joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, Jahweh hath utterly separated me from his people….
[“His people” = the children of a man named “Israel”]
6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to Jahweh, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
[“stranger” = not the spawn of a man named “Israel”]
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful ….
8 The Lord GOD, which gathers the outcasts of Israel says, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
In the passage above, the word “Israel” means “the bloodline of a man named ‘Israel’”.
The conclusion is, anybody can be a Christian, if they choose to do the words of Christ Jesus, and his father, who are one in the same being. Part, of learning how to study the Bible, is how to know who isn’t or who is a follower of Jesus in your life.
